Housing Initiative

Since The Stewpot’s founding, casework and volunteer managers at The Stewpot has participated in efforts to house – Interfaith Housing, Presbyterian Housing, and active participation in the Continuum of Care, as coordinated by the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance. 

Across the country, efforts to make supportive housing available to the chronically homeless with permanent, sustainable and environmentally forward housing are underway.  

EVERgreen Residences is a partnership formed between developer Graham Greene and First Presbyterian Church to meet these goals.
