The Stewpot offers programs that can help you not just survive but thrive: put pen to paper, dab paint on canvas, dig in the dirt, or raise your voice in song.
art program
The Stewpot Art Program is open to people who are experiencing or have formerly experienced homelessness who are looking for an environment in which to express themselves and create through the medium of art. Most of the members of our program are self-taught. All materials are provided to the artists free of charge.
We offer the opportunity to show and sell artists' work, with 90% of the sale price of each piece going directly to the artist (minus sales tax) and 10% to the Art Program for supplies, field trips, and other program expenses.
If you would like to join the Art Program, please go to the Stewpot Intake Desk and ask to speak to the program director.
The Stewpot Art Program is on Instagram at @stewpotdallasart. To see works currently for sale online, please click here.
